It is most likely that Sa Pa was first inhabited by highland minorities of the Hmong and Yao groups, as well as by smaller numbers of Tày and Giay. The Kinh (lowland Vietnamese) never originally colonised this highest of Việt Nam’s valleys, which lies in the shadow of Phan-Xi-Pǎng (Fansipan, 3143 meters), the highest peak in the country.

- DAY 1: CAT CAT VILLAGE
Arrive at Lao Cai train station at 6 30 am, we wait for you there to take you 38 km to Sa Pa. Check in hotel, breakfast in hotel. 10 am, tourist guide will take you to Cat Cat (Black Mong) village, see water fall near by water power built by French. After that go up the hill to enjoy Sa Pa‘s Natural Landscape, then go back Sa Pa for lunch. You are free in the afternoon to see market and explore Sa Pa yourself. In the evening, you are free to visit Sa Pa town and Love Market (Only Saturday evening).

- DAY 2: LAO CHAI – TA VAN
After having breakfast in hotel .At 9 am tourist guide will a long trek to visit Lao Chai (Black Mong) and Ta Van (Zay people) villages. You will have picnic lunch in the village. Sleep in stilt house of Zay people, dinner in the village.

- DAY 3: GIANG TA CHAI – SAPA – HA NOI
After breakfast, continue your trip to Giang Ta Chai (Red Dao) village. At 3 pm go back SaPa, Prepare your luggage and take shower. 4 pm, bus takes you to Lao Cai train station for Ha Noi. Includes: all meals in SaPa, train ticket 2 ways, English speaking guide. Note: drink is not included.
